The Free-moN layout at the 2012 National Train Show consisted of 19 modules and a little more than 3 scale miles of track on the mainline. The plan included a short branchline as well.
We conducted car forwarding (switching) operations on the layout using the operations module in JMRI. Three local trains were defined for performing the switching operations. All other trains ran as extras. A copy of the JMRI Operations files for the layout can be found here (as a gzipped tar file).
